Steel quonset huts
A hut is a simple building commonly constructed for a specific use, and designed to be cheaply constructed. They provide more shelter than tents and can be build up quick.

Steel quonset huts (interior)
A little interior makes even the most inhospitable place feel like home if nicely arranged. Hopefully there will be no need for you to stay here too long and enjoy intense battles out there instead!

Sidi Rezegh Airfield Headquarters
The Sidi Rezegh Airfield was the scene of one of the most intense tank battles of the Second World War during Operation Crusader in November 1941.

Sidi Rezegh Blockhouse
The blockhouse overlooked the eastern approach of the Sidi Rezegh airfield.

Watchtower
A watchtower is a type of fortification used in many parts of the world. It differs from a regular tower in that its primary use is military, and from a turret in that is usually a freestanding structure. Its main purpose is to provide a high, safe place from which military observations may be made.

Guardtower
A watchtower is a type of fortification used in many parts of the world. It differs from a regular tower in that its primary use is military, and from a turret in that is usually a freestanding structure. Its main purpose is to provide a high, safe place from which military observations may be made.

Giarabub Fort
The oasis town of Giarabub was held by Italian forces for 3 months, despite being 500 kilometres behind the frontlines. It was only surrendered after a fierce resistance by its Italian garrison.

Artillery emplacement
With a little luck the artillery emplacement with camonet may give you enough cover to get in the first shot, and enough protection to survive for a second.

Mareth Line Command Bunker
Built by the French prior to World War 2, the Mareth Line was one of the toughest defensive lines in North Africa.

Small bunker
Bunkers are built to protect people against aerial attacks and to deflect the blast waves from nearby explosions to prevent ear and internal injuries to people sheltering in the bunker.

African Aircraft Hangar
Of course, these aircraft need a place to recuperate and rearm. This hangar is based on references of the hangar at Castel Benito, Tripoli. Additionally we have a static Stuka undergoing mechanical work on this image.
